Kathie Stabler is a traditional artist in Mobile, AL, who specializes in oil, watercolor, and acrylic painting. She has over 30 years worth of experience in the art field and currently teaches at Cottage Hill Christian Academy in Mobile, Alabama.
Kathie Stabler has illustrated regional books of the southeastern part of the United States; ranging from the story of Mardi Gras to a story about a raccoon and his search for riches. These two books mentioned were beautiful illustrations in watercolor, which is one of her favorite mediums.
